I created this unit to bring the theme of wellbeing to light in a creative and meaningful way. This unit allows students to explore "the hidden world of bacteria to life" by cultivating their own bacteria samples and transforming them into colourful, expressive embroidery pieces.

This unit highlights the importance of hand hygiene while celebrating creativity and individuality. It's a unique blend of science and art, allows students the chance to critically explore, experiment, and create something truly original. By making the invisible visible, students connect with important topics like self-care and health in a hands-on, imaginative way.
